Coronavirus Advice & Information for parents


Bridgetown School is currently closed, following government recommendations, in order to avoid the spread of Coronavirus but there is a plan for a phased return from 1st June.  


Guidance on coronavirus testing, including who is eligible for a test, how to get tested and the different types of test available can be found here:

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency has published guidance for members of the public and patients about coronavirus tests and testing kits, including information on the different types of tests available and how they work.

Meanwhile, we will continue to be following all local and national advice relating to this from the Department for Education and Public Health England.

This helpline has been set up to answer questions about the virus related to education and is available for staff, parents and young people to use.
