The Role

As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to shape the strategic direction of the school. You will:

  • Lead on Curriculum, Behaviour and managing support staff as key areas of responsibility.
  • Support staff development and performance management.
  • Oversee school improvement priorities.
  • Teach one day per week to maintain classroom experience.

  • Oversee SEND, inclusion, and pastoral care, supporting staff in delivering inclusive practice.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school as DSL.
  • Manage interventions, EHCPs, external partnerships, work closely with families to support inclusion.
  • Teach one day per week to stay engaged with classroom practice.

Inclusion Lead - Job description and Person Spec

Cleaner

 

About the Role

Bridgetown Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated and friendly Cleaner to join our happy and thriving primary school.  The successful candidate will be assigned their own section that they are responsible for and may be asked to cover other areas as required.

The role is for 15 hours per week (3 hours a day), Monday to Friday. Ideally the hours would be 3.15pm to 6.15pm, however, we are happy to discuss and agree hours with the successful candidate.  Term time only plus 2 weeks split over the school holidays for deep cleaning (40 weeks). 

 

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff & volunteers to share this commitment. This post subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.

 

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, organised and thorough, who understands the importance of keeping a school clean.  The successful candidate will take a pride in their work and work well as part of a team and on their own initiative.  Experience of cleaning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
