baking for a VE day afternoon tea. My Bakewell Tart was a bit of  a disaster! I'm not great at making pastry but it tasted nice though. I had more success with my lemon drizzle cake and scones.

preparing myself and my house for the arrival of my new puppy. He is called Reggie and is an 8 week old Labrador Retriever. He has settled in well and is enjoying all of the cuddles and playtime in the garden. He has also sniffed out where his food cupboard is  ... what a monkey!
