Home Learning Week Beginning 20th April

Welcome Back Year 2

Hello to all our Year 2 children and families! We do hope you've managed to have a break from learning over the last couple of weeks. We are sad not be seeing you all in school on Monday, but we cant wait to hear and see what you manage to achieve over the start of this unusual term.

Below you will find some suggested planning for home learning. The week's plan has suggested activities for Spelling and Grammar (SPAG), English, Maths and Topic. We've also attached here some resources that are mentioned in the plan should you wish to use them. Do remember that these are suggestions, and that we are not expecting children to complete all the tasks that are set. Just try your best, as Mrs Tailby has said in her video on the Class Pages!

Remember that exercise is important too - the children of key workers have been keeping up with Joe Wicks in the mornings... the adults have been attempting to keep up too! Please continue to practice spellings, and log in to your new online reading accounts on the Pearson website (log in information to be shared with you on Monday 20th April).

Please contact us using year2bps@welearn365.com with any questions or photographs of home learning you would like us to share on the school website.

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs Bowen, Mrs Smith and Mrs Bishop
