Home Learning Week Beginning 6th July

Happy July Year 2! We can't believe another month has passed. We are certainly getting closer to the Summer holidays. In school, for the next two weeks we would be starting to slow down our pace a little bit, as children in school are often starting to get very tired. So if you are feeling tired too, that's very normal! 

Our story focus this week is the traditional tale Hansel and Gretel. As well as engaging in the characters and story of this tale, we are looking forward to seeing some DT skills in the form of gingerbread houses! 

Maths this week is a mixture of litres, temperature and time. The White Rose Maths resources can be downloaded below. The Mathletics challenges have been set for Tuesday and Thursday as usual also. 

It's been lovely to reconnect with many of you this week, over Microsoft Teams and in school. We can't believe how much you have all grown, both in height and maturity it seems! You certainly all looked ready for Year 3. 

For those that are coming into school again, we will be giving out work books to take home. For those not able to come into school, we will leave your books in the front office in the final week of term.
