The School Day

The school grounds are open to children from 8:45am each morning.

(If you need to bring your child to school earlier than this, please use Denim, our breakfast club, which starts at 8am each morning. Please contact the school office for details.)

 

A member of staff will be in the playground from 8.45am to welcome families. Children are deemed to be in the care of their parents, or other responsible adult, until taken into class by the teacher after the morning bell rings at 8.55am.

 

Whole School

School Day begins: 8.55am

The member of staff on duty will ring the bell indicating that children should line up in the allocated space for their class. Teachers will meet children here and take them into school for morning registration.

 

Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1

Morning Break: 10.15-10.30am

Lunch Break: 12pm-1.15pm

Afternoon Break: 2.40-2.55pm

 

School Day Ends: 3.15pm

At the end of the school day children are brought by their teacher to the infants' front playground. Parents are asked to wait here leaving space for children to stand with their teacher (where morning lines are formed) to assist teachers in ensuring that all children are collected safely.

 

Key Stage Two

Morning Break: 10.15-10.30am

Lunch Break: 12.05-1.15pm

 

School Day Ends: 3.25pm

At the end of the school day children are brought by their teacher to the juniors' front playground. Parents are asked to wait here leaving space for children to stand with their teacher (where morning lines are formed) to assist teachers in ensuring that all children are collected safely.

 

Children in Year 6 and 5 will be allowed to make their own way home if the school has been given written consent from an adult with parental responsibility.

The school office is open from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on school days.
