The School Day

The school grounds are open to children from 8:45am each morning.

(If you need to bring your child to school earlier than this, please use Denim, our breakfast club, which starts at 8am each morning. Please contact the school office for details.)

 A member of staff will be on both the R/KS1 and the KS2 playground gates from 8.45am to 8.55am to welcome children. As children arrive they will be able to go straight into school.  

School day begins: 8.55am

Morning break for 15 minutes mid-morning

Lunch break: 12pm -1pm

Afternoon break: 2pm-2.10pm (KS1 only)

School day ends: 3.10pm (Reception/KS1) and 3.15pm (KS2)

At the end of the school day children are brought by their teacher to the R/KS1 or KS2 front playgrounds. Parents are asked to wait here leaving space for children to stand with their teacher to assist teachers in ensuring that all children are collected safely.

Children in Year 5 and 6 will be allowed to make their own way home if the school has been given written consent from an adult with parental responsibility.
