Ready, Respectful, Safe

Week Beginning 8th June

We have been inspired by Miss Harris and Mrs Luckhurst in Year 5 to share a little about what have been up to this week.

Mrs Bowen

This week our dog Ella finally had a haircut! She has been one of the lucky few to have her fluffy fur cut and trimmed - very important now that the fields are full of tall grass. Here are some before and after snaps of her new look!

This week I have been...

On a river walk. I really enjoy walking and it wasn’t until lockdown that me and my family discovered a beautiful river walk that we didn’t realise was right on our doorstep (despite living here for 12 years!). I live about half an hour away from Stratford but the river Avon runs past my village too. It’s so beautiful doing this river walk and we have seen a lot of wildlife down there including a kingfisher, cuckoo and deer.

This week I have been... watching a sunset at the bottom of my garden with my two boys.

Hello Children!

I hope that you are all keeping well and still getting some time to play outside, despite the less sunny weather!

I have had such a busy week, but I have managed to treat myself this week to doing a few creative things! I used to make pompoms as a little girl (I was probably your age) and decided to see if I could still make them. Mrs Calvo's daughter, Maya, lent me a great gadget that made it so much easier (Mr Smallman even had a go, as he was so impressed!). I then made some gluten free, vegan peanut butter cookies - they were so easy and incredibly yummy! ðŸ™‚

I have been working in school on a Wednesday with the keyworker children and I like to plan something fun for them for the afternoons. This week we made mini aquariums and here is mine! There are some great videos on how to make them on you tube if you fancy a go!

Anyway, I miss you all so much... take care,

Mrs Smallman
