Home Learning Summer Week 3

Summer  Home learning Week 3

We hope that despite the weather, you have still had a great week and you have managed a mix of school learning and family time, fun and games.   Thanks again for all your comments and feedback about the learning activities it is really appreciated.  Please continue to send photos of the children, their work and them enjoying their time at home, we have loved hearing from you all and we will keep updating the slide show on our class page for you all to see what each other have been up too.

Please find below the suggested plan of learning for week 3 of the summer term, starting on Monday 4th May. All the resources you need are below and have also been emailed out to you (Please let us know if you didn't receive the email).  Please remember that we do not expect you to print the sheets, you can do the majority of the work using paper or an exercise book.  You do not need to keep your work but it is worth keeping it for the whole week as the lessons tend to build on each other so you may want/need to refer back to them.  Next week there are only 4 days so the spelling test will be on the Thursday instead of Friday.

Luckily, Friday is a bank holiday to celebrate VE day.  For those of you who are thinking about celebrating and remembering VE day next week, then why not take part in Bridgetown's 'Make, do and mend event' to celebrate VE day, please check out the VE document with lots of ideas on what you could do (See document below).  This is a whole school community event, completely voluntary, just a bit of fun to cheer us all up during the lockdown.  Photos will be collated and shared on the website after the event.

Please remember that the work set are suggestions and we are not expecting children to complete all the tasks set unless they/you wish too. What is most important is that you are all happy and safe at this time and make the most of the precious family time you have too and find time for games, fun and exercise.

Please continue to contact us using the year group email year3bps@welearn.com to let us know how you are getting on each week, if you have any questions or simply if your child would like to say hi to us and let us know what they are up to.

Remember to stay safe, happy and healthy.

Best wishes,

Miss Vernon and Miss Thijssen
