Bridgetown School Uniform

We are keen that the Bridgetown School Uniform is smart, cohesive and is an effective representation of the high standards and pride in our school.  We work hard to increase the presence and reputation of Bridgetown across Stratford-upon-Avon.  We are not the only school who has a green uniform and we are keen that our pupils and marketing are clear with the Bridgetown identity. In addition:

•    this helps children identify with the school and its community.
•    standardised uniform supports learning by reducing distraction, sharpens focus on schoolwork, making the classroom a more equal environment, enabling pupils to perform better academically.
•    this makes children feel equal to one another in terms of appearance, pupils do not have to worry about peer pressure or negative comments when it comes to their clothes.
•    all children have equal access to wearing school uniform regardless of their culture, race, religion, gender, disability, or ability.
•    we ensure that the set uniform respects other policies such as Equalities and allows for individual sets of circumstances of all groups and individuals.
•    it is regarded as suitable, and good value for money by most parents.
