The Governors and Staff of the school actively encourage the wearing of school uniform as we feel it fosters a feeling of belonging and pride in the school. We also feel that it helps parents overcome the demands put on them by the constantly changing trends in fashion.
Our Bridgetown school uniform is as follows:
Grey skirt or pinafore dress or grey trousers (short or long)
White/grey buttoned shirt/blouse or school polo shirt in green or white
School fleeced jacket
Grey or green tights / grey or white socks
Green school sweatshirt or cardigan
School type, plain grey trousers for cold weather
Sensible, low heeled shoes
Summer wear options:
Green / white gingham / striped dress
Sandals (closed toe)
All items of clothing can be purchased from Rascals School Wear in Warwick (tel 01926 497879) or Alcester NSC in Alcester(website www.alcesternsc.co.uk tel01789 400344) or purchased at high street stores.
There are a number of items we ask the children NOT to wear:
Jewellery (pupils with pierced ears are permitted to wear gold or silver studs only, one in each ear)
Trainers (the exception being during games lessons)
Large hair pieces (girls should wear plain hairbands or clips in school colours)
White or black shorts
School PE shirt (white or house colour)
Children in KS2 (Y3-6) will require suitable warm kit for outdoor games lessons along with appropriate footwear e.g. trainers.
We strongly suggest a draw string bag for each child to keep his/her kit together. This can then be brought home regularly for washing.
