Stratford in Bloom

2024: We are thrilled to report that Bridgetown was placed first in the Stratford in Bloom Challenge for 2024. The combination of planting, art and crafts, recycling, upcycling and colour was recognised by the judging panel as 'a delightful response to the challenge'.= Huge thanks and congratulations goes to Mrs Acutt, Mrs Wight, Mrs Jeffs-Watts, the children and FOBS, who all contributed to our beautiful Wizard of Oz garden, which is an engaging, calm space for children.

On 19th September Mrs Jeffs Watts, Mrs Acutt and Mrs Wight attended the Stratford in Bloom awards ceremony to receive Joint First Prize winners plaque in the schools category. They attended the presentation at the Town Hall, alongside other Stratford Schools who had
participated in the competition. The Deputy Mayor Cllr Dani Hunter presented the awards and a good time was had by all. 

2022: We were once again winners of Stratford in Bloom for our wonderful Reception garden - Mrs Calvo and three of her team collected the trophy and prize in September 2022.

2021: We are pleased to announce that Bridgetown School is the runner up in the 2021 Stratford in Bloom Primary School competition!

2020: We were delighted to be named as the winners of the Primary School category of the 2020 Stratford in Bloom competition.

We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of the members of the community that supported us in creating and maintaining our garden and grounds; donating materials, plants and pots, working in the gardens, creating the video and presentation etc.  We thank you all.

We are so proud of the beautiful spaces that were created for staff and pupils to enjoy.
