Bridgetown pupils win prizes in Art Competition

During January, children from across Stratford upon Avon were invited to take part in an art competition in aid of the charity Marie Curie, on the theme of 'I matter because...'

There was a great response from the fabulous talent at Bridgetown Primary School! Entries were judged by Warwickshire artist Philip Randall, and no less than 4 Bridgetown children were chosen as winners!  A huge well done to:

Under 7s: 1st prize to Lily, 2nd to Gabriella.

7 to 9s: 1st prize to Lucy, 2nd to Ella.

We know you'll enjoy your prizes of colouring sets and pencils!

Well done Ella!

In October 2020, following our daily art projects during lockdown led by Teaching Assistant, Rachel Warren, we were delighted to be regarded as internationally renowned artist, Damien Hirst, as a 'worthy cause' to receive one of his pieces of art work!

Below is the 'Rainbow butterfly heart' he sent to Bridgetown, along with some regular contributors to the lockdown art challenges.
